Very nice! I like your setup. I also like your informality in addressing the "you" of all internet users. You should post more stuff up to your portfolio, and (if you can) display them in the order you would want a potential employer to see them. Also are you using html? For the "news" link that goes back to your sketch blog, you can make it open in a new tab/window (automatically) if you want to, to discourage complete navigation away from your main site.
