A while back i was working on a shirt for a song by The Torches called Sex Blood and Certain Doom Tango. Well I'm looking to do some more pieces that involve type in them for portfolio purposes and thought that i should do something with the drawing, which i rather like.

PS I now realize that i never posted the original drawing up on the blog to begin with making this part uno. . . .

Banjosaurus Rex.

Now that i have moved to Austin and the job hunt is in full swing, i thought it would be a good time for  some re-branding. I think this new logo will fit my portfolio a little better. The old one was a little too cartoon-y for the way i generally work... so adios chickensaurus hello BANJOSAURUS. I think i like the second one down with the smaller "serif" thing on the line the best although the one without the line is also good.

Das' da old one. it looks like its going to fart something out.

Sketchers.

Long time no post! I have a lot to post about that I've been working on in the past few months. From my last post you might think that i got a lizard and then it grew to 15 feet long and then ate me. but i assure you that isn't what happened. (she is growing a lot and she laid two slimy eggs though). For the time being here are some initial brainstorm sketches for a book im illustrating! The book is about a friend of mine and his daughter on their ride to work/daycare in the morning. There are going to be lots of cool playgrounds and castles to come.

Finished the cover for 403b magazine. Now im working on some drawings for the inside.

Someday, this shall all be mine.

Im on sort of a hermit crab binge right now. working on the underpainting for a . . . .  thing. no real purpose. going to add billboards all around the town that all the letters are coming from.

Update: BRRAAARRRGH!

This is for a screen print class im taking. there is only one that has the orange and blue background but if you want to buy a print of just the black on grey or tan paper i have like 10 or so of those!
